Folooume app SL respects your privacy. Folooume app SL (“Folooume”) offers mapping and GPS navigation to guide and locate, both in the city and in closed spaces, the users of the Folooume mobile application (the “Application”) (Together it will refer to “Services”). This is specially developed for people with visual disabilities.
The following Privacy Policy describes:
- The information that Folooume collects from its users.
- How the information is used by Folooume
- The rights and options available to users.
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” refers to all types of information collected by us or provided by you that, with reasonable efforts, can be used to identify you. This includes:
- Name and surname
- Whether or not they have a disability

- Sex
- In certain circumstances, your location and favorite place information
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information we collect is used to provide and improve the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions, which can be accessed on Folooume unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTED
Folooume will allow you to use the Services only when you have registered. You can register with your email and creating a password associated with this email, or through your Google or Facebook account. Folooume will associate all your information to your Account in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The types of information collected by Folooume include some or all the information listed below, depending on how you prefer to use the Services.
Each time you use the Services, Folooume will collect:
- Personal information described at the beginning.
- Detailed location and route information, for example, GPS signals and other information sent by your mobile device on which the Application is installed and activated.
- Information about the use of its Services.
If you choose to use the Services in the way detailed below, Folooume may additionally collect:
- Information you choose to share with Folooume, including your Account user data, reports associated with your user, “home” or “work” or other favorite places, destinations you might go to, and search requests. Also, if you choose to use the “Find your friends” feature, Folooume will get:
- Periodically all the telephone numbers that are saved in the contact book of your device. We will only obtain the numbers anonymously for Folooume, that is, we will not have their names, addresses or other information from the contact book of your device. This information will be used as part of the “Find Your Friends” feature to help you find and create a list of Folooume users that you might know and want to contact.
- Your phone number. This will be used to verify your account and as part of the “Find Your Friends” feature to help you find and create a list of Folooume users that you might know and want to contact.
- Information required at registration, such as name and gender. Please note that false, incorrect or outdated information may impede Folooume’s ability to provide you with the Services and to contact you when necessary. Folooume will explicitly indicate the fields that must be completed. If you do not enter the necessary data in these fields, you may not be able to register correctly; and/or
- Information shared from your social media accounts.
Please note that when you first install the Application on your mobile device, Folooume creates an account associated with that device (the “Account”). Folooume will collect and use your information, in accordance with what is indicated in this Privacy Policy, each time you activate the Application on this mobile device. This use includes linking the information to your Account.
If you sign up in the Application:
- Folooume will link all your information with your Account and the email with which you registered. This includes information received from all mobile devices that are running the Application with their registration data.
- With the exception described in the point below, your Account and information associated with your Account will be visible only to Folooume; and
- When using the Application, your approximate location and other information you choose to share will be visible to other users associated with that account.
USE OF INFORMATION
Folooume may use the information collected or provided by you for the following purposes:
- To Provide Services: Folooume may use your location, route information, and/or search request history to provide navigation services and to deliver information and advertisements about sites, stores, and other places and attractions that are near you or based on your location. search history.
- Improve the user experience. For example, Folooume may use your routing information to improve the accuracy of mapping and navigation data.
- Provide support and attend to requests and complaints.
- Send updates, news, announcements, and additional information related to the Services.
- Display or send advertising and marketing material when you are using the Application, in accordance with the section called “Advertising Campaigns” of this Privacy Policy. For example, Folooume may use your location information to display advertisements for businesses near you.
- Subject to prior consent, the email address you register for may also be used to send you marketing material. You may choose, at any time, to stop receiving such material by performing the following procedure:
- Changing your email preferences in your Account through the website; either
- By clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in messages sent by email. In any case, Folooume will not share your personal information, with any advertiser, without your explicit consent to do so and as permitted under this Privacy Policy.
- Create aggregate and/or anonymous information. See “How does Folooume use aggregated information?” below;
- Send you surveys and questionnaires.
- Contact him when Folooume considers it necessary.

PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU SHARE
Users choose to share personal information such as their name, location information, places they have visited, ranking to those places, and reports. This information can be shared directly with the Service and with other users, as in the case of reports of inconveniences on the streets. This can also be shared by third-party services, such as social networks, that are interacting with the Service by decision of the user.
The content you share with your users is not private or confidential and you should have no expectation of privacy in this regard. The information you upload will be published along with other personal information.
It is up to the user to upload content to the Services or not. However, any content you submit to post may be viewed by all users of the Services and by Folooume.
In any event, except as detailed below regarding information shared from your social media accounts in accordance with your privacy settings for such accounts, your email address will not be visible to others in reports or user posts that upload or share.
We at Folooume go to great lengths to provide you with the best possible experience when using the Services. However, Folooume has no control over the conduct of other users and rejects all kinds of responsibility on this point. Users are advised to carefully consider whether to make any such information public or available.
INTEGRATION WITH SOCIAL NETWORKS
You can choose whether to share information between the Account and your social media accounts, such as Facebook. Through this option, you can have information or other content about you available from social networks, transmitted and shared through the Services. Likewise, you may have personal information and other content about you available from Folooume, including your location and route information, transmitted, and shared through your social network account.
By configuring your Account to integrate it with social networks and/or including logging into Folooume using your social network account, you agree to share information (including personal information) between Folooume and said social network, for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy.
The use of social network account information that is configured to be available on Folooume is governed by the Privacy Policy of this social network and controlled by the social network and not by the Privacy Policy of Folooume.
When you connect to the Services through a social network account for the first time, or have the Services interact with your social network account, your permission will be requested for the social network to share your personal information stored in the Account. The information obtained from your social media accounts is done in accordance with the privacy settings you have established in your social media accounts.
Based on the above, we only collect the type of information that you have allowed to share from the social network to third-party services (such as name, email address or other information that you make public through the social network). It is understood by this that the Services can access, make available and save (if applicable and is allowed by the social network and authorized by you) the type of information that is available in your Account. For example, Folooume may allow you to share your location with your Facebook friends through the Application.
META-DATA WE COLLECT
Folooume collects information about the use of the Services. For example, Folooume may record the frequency and extent of your use of the Services, the time you spend using the Application, information about the device on which you have installed the Application, the web pages you visit through the Application, your searches, the ways you navigate, information you read and interact with, content you use or create, advertisements you access, your communications with other users and with third parties, the IP address and domain name that allows you to access to the Services, and the geographic location of the computer system you used to register.
Folooume also collects information that is associated with how you came to download the application, comments, and ratings of all content on Folooume.
ACCESSING THE SERVICES
From time to time, Folooume may require other ways to identify and authenticate yourself to log in and access the Services or to access certain features or specific sections of the Services.
The login details are your responsibility. Therefore, the user is fully responsible for the use and misuse of his Account and personal details, because of giving Account details to other people. The information to carry out the login must be confidential, and you must avoid disclosing it to third parties.
SHARING INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES
Folooume does not sell or lease your personal information to third parties.
Folooume will not share your personal information with others without your prior consent, except for the following purposes and to the extent that Folooume deems discretion necessary:
- For the operation of the Services. For example, making public the street reports that are associated with your first name, last name, user and location.

CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your location and favorite places are associated with your Account and email.
If you believe that the information associated with your Account is not accurate, complete, or current, then you must make the necessary changes to correct it. Keep in mind that any type of information that is false, incorrect, or obsolete may cause you to not be able to enter the Application or impede the ability of Folooume to correctly provide you with the Services.
HOW DOES FOLOOUME USE AGGREGATE INFORMATION?
Folooume may use anonymous, statistical, or aggregate information (including anonymous location information), in a way that does not allow the identification of a specific user for the proper functioning of the Services, to improve the quality of the Services, to improve your experience, to create new services and features, including personalized services, to change or cancel existing content or services, and for internal, business, and statistical purposes.
Folooume may also use anonymous, statistical, or aggregate information collected on the Services in a manner that does not permit the identification of a specific user when posting, disseminating, transmitting, or otherwise communicating or making available certain information to users. of the Services, the providers of the Services, partners and any other third parties. For example, the GPS information we receive from your mobile device may be provided in aggregate or anonymous form to map publishers to help improve maps and resolve issues they may have.

ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS
Folooume may permit, request, or contract with other companies to include advertising campaigns on the Services.

- Geographic or context information held about you,
- Information received by third parties, and also
- Search request history information.
You hereby agree that we may provide certain information and targeted advertising based on your search request history and other information such as favorite places. However, if at any time upon accessing the Services you no longer wish to receive targeted information and advertising from us based on your search request history or information received from third parties, you may opt out of receiving information and advertising that is targeted in the Application settings.
When you visit a third-party website from the Application, that page may be using ‘cookies’ on your computer. The use of third party ‘cookies’ is subject to their own privacy policies and not to this Privacy Policy. If you want to study the privacy policies of third parties, you should visit their services or contact them directly.
The Service includes a messaging system that enables you to receive marketing messages from us. You hereby agree that we may use the messaging system for the purpose of informing you of products or services that may be of interest to you.
Please note that, despite this, other Folooume users are not allowed to use your contact information for commercial advertising purposes. If you detect any user generated advertising material, please inform us through the channels indicated in the “About Us” menu of the Software, through “Contact us” or via email to [email protected]. Folooume accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense you suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with any user’s advertising material.
It is clarified that we are not responsible for the content of said advertisements or for the products delivered or services provided by third parties, and you irrevocably and unconditionally accept that we will not be responsible for the aforementioned.
INFORMATION SECURITY
Folooume may use anonymous, statistical, or aggregate information (including anonymous location information), in a way that does not allow the identification of a specific user for the proper functioning of the Services, to improve the quality of the Services, to improve your experience, to create new services and features, including personalized services, to change or cancel existing content or services, and for internal, business, and statistical purposes.
Folooume considers that information security is a priority. Folooume implements systems, applications and procedures to secure your personal information to minimize the risks of theft, damage, loss of information, unauthorized access or use of information that is not authorized. However, these measures do not make it possible to provide absolute security. Therefore, although Folooume takes great efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee, and you cannot reasonably expect, that Folooume’s databases will be immune from wrongdoing, malfunction, shortcuts, or access. illegal or other misuse or abuse.

For the correct functioning of Folooume, the application uses all the functionalities that this platform offers. Folooume saves its own database with content in Firebase.
Through the API of this platform, addresses are found that are associated with specific places, the data is stored in the servers associated with the application.
REGISTRATION DATA
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in the event of an error in the application, we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called `Log Data`. This Log Data may include information such as: your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, application settings when using our Service, time, and date of use of the Service and other statistics related to the error.
This collected information can only be used to improve/correct the application.
SERVICE LIMITATIONS
Folooume does not replace the use of a cane or the assistance of a guide dog.
Folooume is not an exact tool and cannot be held responsible if the person has accidents while using Folooume.
Folooume is not responsible for false information of places, coming from external databases, such as Google Maps, Foursquare, Openstreetmaps and a future public data source.
Folooume is only responsible for the fact that the information is reliable from places with the seal verified by Folooume, considering that it can always have differences with its exact position.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Folooume may change the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will take place 30 days after Folooume has published:
- A system of messages to users notifying them of the changes made to the Privacy Policy; and
- Notifications at the beginning of the web page with the new Privacy Policy.
Other types of changes will take effect 7 days after the initial posting on the page. However, if Folooume modifies its Privacy Policy to comply with legal requirements, such changes will be effective immediately upon initial posting or as otherwise required.
You agree to be bound by any changes made to the terms of this Privacy Policy. To continue using the Services, you must indicate acceptance of the changes made. If you do not agree to any of the modified terms, you should refrain from further use of the Services.
